2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 100K Warranty

When I bought my truck last year, I got her from an individual not a dealer.

My question is does the engine warranty go with the truck, or do I have to register or pay some kind of transfer fee.

Iam asking this question because my lift pump just went out with 98K and I would like to have the dealer replace it, but if it is a big hassle I'll go buy the part at cummins

Warranty goes with the truck. However some dealers consider the lift pump NOT covered by the 100K warranty, some do. If yours does not, go to a cumming dealer to get the pump $150 vs $400 @ the Dodge Dealer. Factor your time / hassel factor & you just might go to Cummins anyway.

I bought a spare, just in case.
