I am having a hard time finding a battery for my 1992 d-250 cum.

i have found 3 dihahds at sears 3 years old and older. help

www.interstatebatteries.com and go to the dealer locator. Your looking for a part # 31P-MHD probably retails around $100 or so. 950CCA@0*. The 92 I recently bought has one of these in it thats 45 months old and it still cranks just fine.

1050 CCA's are getting really hard to find. Sometimes the part number still says 1050 but the fine print on the battery is usually around the 950 range or so. On the good side, these things start so fast, you shouldn't need that much battery. :)

www.dekabatteries.com, email them or locate a distributor nearby. They also make batteries for CarQuest and O-Reilly's, so if you got one of them nearby, get one of their 'Super Starts'. Look to spend less than a junk Workaholic and get more CCA's.

Thats good stuff lol. I work for interstate, I can for sure stand behing the Group 31 Workaholic line no doubt. I move about 350-400 avg batteries a week and pick up that many exchanges or more usually. I get ALOT of super start and wal-mart stuff thats less than a year old in my junk pile.

You have to be careful with CCA, anybody can put whatever they want on that label there is no regulation on that. I can soundly say the stuff I sell meets and generally exceeds the CCA on the label by quite a bit.
