60'= 1. 69

1/4= 11. 7

MPH= 115

That's not too bad from a PowerStroke huh?:)

Thought yall might get a kick out of it too! ;)

Happen at World Ford Challange today, video is getting posted now, will report more later.

5. 0 Mustang told them they would do a feature on them, and do a cover if they made the 11's. David Lott made it into the 11's as he promised, now let's see if 5. 0 holds their end of the bargan.

I know some don't care because it's a PowerStroke, but what ever helps the diesel industry grow, will help the Dodge's grow also, period. :)

Joe (CC12v), hope you get faster cause the faster it seems you get, the faster it seems david gets. :p ;)

Andrew

David is a good ole' boy from Houston. Have to give him a nod for a very respectable time. Congrats David... ... . The Powerstroke Kid... . :cool: . Hope nobody else has that name.....

Jim

Thumbs up to David, this has been along time coming. Some of us didn't think he would ever break into the 11s. :D

Too bad the Cummins are already into the 10s!

I was even starting to wonder Gene!!! ;)

Actually, how many Dodges are running in the 11's on a single turbo? :confused:

None that I know of, it took NOS to get this one there. it did do some mid 12's on #2 only yesterday though. :)

NOS and a single turbo still isn't bad. :)

Man, that's great! NOS and a big turbo, eh? What turbo does it run? Has it been dyno'd, and what does it weigh? 4x4?

I don't usually read about the Fords... :)

He has a special Ball-bearing turbo from the good folks at Garrett. It's a 2wd truck, that still weighs quite a bit, not sure these days though as there has never been that much thought to "trying" to make it light as much as "trying" to make it look more like a "race truck" if you get my drift. Like the race buckets weigh more then they should with the adapter we had to make for each one, about 15-20 extra pounds just for the adapter, x 2 for driver and passanger. The last dyno number was 613, but major improvments have been made since then, I can promise.

Below I have included the last dyno sheet that I mentioned, notice the flat line of the horse power, yes, that is horse power, not torque... :eek:

and here is a pic from just before they loaded it to goto St. Louis...

Enjoy,

Thanks for the info Andrew. I'm not a fan of the Ford look usually, but set up like that it don't look half bad. It definitely does not have "victim" written all over it... :p

Snow White Wonder

Congrats guys. You've been working hard at it and its good to see you get some good times out of the ol' girl.

Ok, for those that are asking, the truck weighs 5900lbs WITH the driver, and the bottles. Also the headgasket is STOCK, no o-ring, c-ring, etc. , and only has studs in the heads to hold it together (not Don_M~ ones either :-laf ) .

Can you name a single turbo Dodge, with a stock headgaskets in the 11's? :cool:

Thanks for acting like yall are intrested, it IS still the compition you know, just got to know what they are doing at all times. :) ;)

Okay, smart guy, tell us why it can get away with stock head gasket, no O-ringing, blah blah blah. :rolleyes: Does it have overall less compression? Does it come stock with studs? if not, were they replaced leaving the stock gasket in place? Has it only been run once maybe?

You started it, now spill! :)

So the Dodge guys aren't as foolish or cheap as Lott. Not our fault hes handicap. Doesn't he replace head gaskets about every three runs?

INNOVATIONS, my butt, LOL!! Fix it right when it let goes!!!:D

No, it has aftermarket studs with the same gasket you can get at any ford dealer for these motors, with some yamabond, nothing special. :)

Gene,

It seems like you only hear about the truck when it's in public and his happens, and not all the testing that he does for weeks and weeks without popping a gasket. Even Scheids had that year where they broke on about every run. ;)

Maybe David can hold his end of the bargain and pay his bills? At least I know where his money goes.

That is a good run for the PSD, too bad he is not a better person.
