Ive had my #11 in my truck for 2 weeks now.

I first installed it in the stock location. It ran real good, but I got bored fast (30 min) knowing I could still slide it forward.

So I slid it foward. I also slid the AFC housing foward too. I havent yet played with the starwheel. Here are some observations I've made:

Empty: The truck drives great. There is minimal smoke if you drive sane, and usually none at all. If you get on it, It smokes pretty good. The low end response is awesome. It is definitley a welcome addition. It seems as though I have gained a whole bunch right off idle, and spoolup is pretty good. Empty, I cannot exceed 900* post turbo temps. Sometimes I can break the tires loose at 35-40mph. If you leave a light in 3rd gear and roll it on, its pretty smokey. But it is completley controllable, it wont smoke if you dont want it to. running at 75 on the freeway the egt runs about 500-550(post). I can make 35-36psi. It runs much better than the stock plate foward.

Trailer: I towed the small trailer to see how the EGT would react. It was around 5500lbs. I took it to the mountains. I can now lug the truck in 4th gear at like 20mph (the speed limit was 20 part of the way) at 800rpm and the truck pulls pretty good. Even up hills. I could see the powerjoke infront of me downshift up everyhill (nice puff of black smoke). Egt was never a concern. I can tell if I was pullin much more, It would be though.

My gas mileage seems to have suffered somewhat. I havent actually checked it yet (I usually just put gas in and go), but it seems to be slightly lower. But it is also hard to drive nice now too. I would still like to try a 10, but not until I get a clutch.

My future plans are(in order):

move pyro pre turbo

3kgsk

afc spring kit

heat wrap manifold

BHAF/rips 4"

SB or mitchell clutch

#10 and pdr 370's

possibly BD twins or maybe just a Jammer.

I would be careful lugging the engine down like that with your stock clutch, that puts a tremendous load on it, especially if your towing.

If you get a chance, try a #10. I love mine! :D

I wasnt givin it hardly any throttle at all at that low of rpm. I usually try to keep it above 1600 in every gear. I was trying not to make it work hard.
