Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) #11 plate install = less rpm?

Hello all



I installed a #11 plate and a medium AFC spring a while ago, and since then I have lost around 100-150 rpm, is this most likely from the spring kit? Housing is all the way forward, or maybe not

Lost idle RPM

When I installed the #11 plate and AFC spring (the lightest one), I did not notice a drop in idle RPM. OTOH, installation of governor springs did drop the idle speed as did 370 injectors (installed later). I would look elsewhere for a cause.

My idle is ok, but my fueling cutoff has dropped around 150 RPM, at the time of install. Sorry I should have specified that.

Mine didnt do that and I have not read about it being a problem, its kinda a wierd thing.
