I just installed several new mods to my truck over the past couple days (see sig), however I think I can pull some more power out of it by sliding the new #11 plate forward. It is currently about half way forward or in the middle. Will my stock clutch hold if I slide the plate all the way forward with my current mods (#11 plate, AFC Spring Kit - light spring, HX35/40 w/16cm, 5"exhaust)? It seems to be holding fine right now.

All input greatly appreciated.

By the way, I am new to this and to my Dodge (I've had it for a month or so now), but really enjoy reading TDR and couldn't put a price tag on the amount of information I have learned. Thanks A Lot!!

Hard to say if it will hold or not, try it and see . You can always move it back. I move mine forward all the way to dyno and move it back a little the rest of time to keep the smoke down and the TT cleaner.

Welcome crudd! Some fellas around Mid-TN just started a new TDR chapter. The first meeting was a few months ago in "the 'Boro" but the next meeting is tomorrow in Dickson. Check this link for directions:

Directions to Mid TN TDR meet Jan 10th 10:00 a. m.

There should be about 25 trucks there, some of them are pretty BAD! I'm sure some of the fellas can teach us all a thing or two. Maybe we'll see you there.

My clutch held with my #11 (see sig) until i moved it full forward. Then in 4th and 5th at wot between 1600 and 2000 rpm would slip(only when cold) I talked to Pete at SBC and he said that sounded normal. He said cold clutches wont hold as well as they do when at normal operating temps. When warmed up the clutch holds, even with my 35 foot toy hauler pulling hills. If you move it forward I think you will end up like me, right on the edge. Bill
