Greg... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Is there any way to get more gear in the rear? Seems to me we have more than enough torque to get through a taller gear. Then have the HP to pull through the lights. Everybody seems to run out of gear.

. . Preston. .

I have more gear then I can pull, a 2. 70 in the car , and a unabtainum 2. 50 in the trailer , at 5000 rpms I would say I could run 180 mphs or close there about . I'm perdicting this motor and the other modification , to the truck in weight savings will put me deep in the 7 second range.

I've had Ray Barton hemis on my dyno but still wish I could have been there. Are spectators allowed?? It would be worth a trip to TX.

Nearly 100% of the high end dyno work is done on engine dynos, not chassis dynos. It is like a stethoscope vs an EKG. Darin Morgan made a statement recently that because of sonic flow they develop their exhaust ports on " the dyno and the drag strip", not the flow bench. Guess what dyno they use? SF902 - pretty much the same thing you see in the pictures here. I've read things about chassis dyno work I thought was pretty "cave man", things like making up your own correction. There are very important things easily measured on engine dynos that you can't even hope to measure on current chassis dynos.

Can any of you do this on your chassis dyno? Renault F1 RS25 V10 playing "We are the champions"

OMG!!! THAT IS THE COOLEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD!!!

Oh, and you haven't lived until you've seen a Barton-built Hemi screaming down the track. It gives me chills just thinking about it!

Oh, and I'm surprised you guys even bothered to explain the difference (and need for) and engine dyno vice a chassis dyno to some people who appear so ignorant they can't figure out the obvious for themselves.

(Insert redneck comment about "Scheid is best" here)

Hey Hohn,

If you think the Barton built Hemi is chilling- (12-1500Hp)

Try listenin to a Brad Anderson Eng. Hemi... (8000Hp)

Think Barton on steroids, multiplied x 5... ... . sweet.

Greg- what were the Uncorrected numbers?

Oh I see it 1148 hp. First column is uncorrected, second is corrected... ...

Yeah, but I was referring specifically to the 426 Hemis they build for SS/AA. 800+hp from a "stock" Hemi of only 426 cubes!

Edit: I guess they're up over 900 now from 438CID. Amazing.

When is the testing scheduled for? Cant wait to see what it runs... Oo.

Comp, I am dont really know much about nitrous set-ups and I am trying to figure out the reason for seperate solenoids. Do you have 4 different tanks or just 1 and are these different solenoids for different nozzle sizes so they can come on when you want them to?
