I might be able to make it. Looking at the install that Jeff did for the air tank & such is better than any picture. Jeff really did a super job.

Any word on TMTT's injectors, or will I have to drive up to MA to pick them up for him?

Hey, it is Christmas... I can understand if it's a funding issue this time of year, and I am (on the other hand) looking for an excuse to see what Massdiesel has been up to lately.

MTE

Huh, I was thinking out loud that picking up Tim's injectors would be a good excuse to go up and see Scott, but if you guys want to head on up, I guess it would be best to find a day when he isn't too busy. I hear he's flat out with work in his new shop.

I'll have to give him a call and see if there's a day when he's only dynoing trucks or some such activity. There's guys in VT that would like to dyno, but we'd have to persuade them to come down south. See the thread in the Northeast forum.

What do you think?

MTE

You guys do all the fun stuff when I ain't there. Air horn installs, trips to MD, dyno runs, etc. Fine. I just finished (almost), my Buckstop bumper installs. I say almost, since the PIAAs aren't yet wired, but they are mounted. Waiting on the shop to open up to get the factory switch. Also having trouble finding a set of 4 1/2" fog lights to use in the rear as backup lights. They got lots of them here, but they have pretty little rainbow LEDs that just scream ricer. I am NOT putting those in my bumper. Almost tested them tonight, had to lock the brakes for a deer in the road. I'll try to get pictures up of them on the truck. I did regain possession of it. See you guys after the 5th. Hope everyone had a nice Christmas.

Oh mister Jengle... stop :{ :-laf :-laf

The air horns won't be installed, just laying things out for an easy coffee night install. Man are they LOUD!!!

I think you'll be around for a trip to massdiesel.

Can't wait to see the pics!

Jengle Bells, Jengle Bells, Jengle got his truck.

To make the scene, it's painted green,

Unless it's been in muck.....

Oo. Oo. Oo.

Hope you had a happy holiday. So you got your truck back for Christmas, huh? I use some pretty basic back up lights, the kind that are probably designed for farm tractors and are basically a rubber body wrapped around a glass lense. They cost about $15 and don't look ghey under the rear bumper. I think you can find them at most automotive stores. What'dya think?

I could probably pick a pair up if you need me to.

MTE

Ok, I'll quit :{ . The truck was actually pretty muddy, but I just washed it today, to get some pics with the bumpers. Pics looked ok, but when I transferred them to the PC, the truck came out looking black. Really didn't show off the sand tone of the bumpers against the green truck. I will try again tomorrow when the sun is higher.

On the lights for the rear, they actually got offended when I said I didn't like the ones they had and I repeat, are NOT going on my truck. They used to have 4x4 stores around here, but they went out in favor of honda and other jap junk dealers. Maybe the stock is low due to everybody buying the good stuff for christmas gifts and they will have some more shipments coming in soon. Thanks, Matt, I'll let you know if I need you to grab a set.

I don't believe it :p

Guys, sorry, but I have a family event. I don't think I'm going to be there. Do we have another coffee night in the works soon? I can probably make a regular weekday starting in T...

MTE

Andy, anytime after noon... (of the truck):-laf Did you think someone would make a joke if you didn't include that

Wheaties... nothing till Friday January 16th.

Guys, what do you think of this? I like the way the duals look.

Dual exhaust

They had a picture of the duals on a truck, they exit in the same as stock location in back of the wheel, but on both sides. Here is the link to the thread, scroll down a few entries for the pic.

Wonder if its any good? Think Mass Diesel could do that at this price?

Dual exh.

Well, I got the oil changed, fuel filter changed, and serviced the transmission. 15,000 miles on the DTT transmission and absoutley NOTHING in the filter or pan! ;)

Andy, I'm sure Tim will post, I can't remember.

Jengle, dual exhaust with NO muffler! :D

I'll be at the garage tomorrow night for a few hours if anyone is around. 12/30/03
