So were (are all) the intercoolers now down under the radiator? I saw that for the first time last night when it was on the lift for the 5k rotation and drainging / checking things... I thought it must've been re-located because the radiator / condenser were behind the active doors to open/close for cooling and reduce drag...

It was placed down low with the 13 trucks. I am not sure of the exact reason why they did it that way.

Meaning?

It's the same on 2500/3500 trucks, except maybe 2013 2500's with the old frame but I am not sure.

That was all I meant, Like I said I was surprised to see it down low last night so I made an assumption that perhaps it had something to do with the active cooling on the front of my truck (not sure if all MTOC have that). If a model didn't have that or were spec'd differently, then perhaps they put it back in that location to save on cost.. etc... Didn't know if it was a HO vs STD engine, auto vs. MT, etc,,, So if they moved it back up does that mean they changed the frame?

So the parts diagram still shows the Intercooler down low on the 2021. What year was the rental @NIsaacs?

I just looked at a co-workers 2019 and it's in the same location as my 2018.

I will need to carry a milk crate to check the oil

They make license plate steps for that. I may use em for other things...

Looks good Nick. The 17" wheels is a bit of a handicap tho. They are only good for 3195 lbs per tire compared to your (I think) 285/75/16 at around 3750 lbs per tire. That's roughly 1000 lbs per axle difference, quite substantial even if only for a buffer so that you aren't running on the ragged edge of the tires capacity. And that is on par with all 17" tire sizes. 285/75/17 has the exact rating 3195 lbs. You'll have to go up to 18" wheels to get better capacity.
