Interesting items on ebay, a 92 D350 '12 speed trans' looked to me like 4 speed main, 3 speed auxillary-1 low range, 1 direct, 1 overdrive- SWEET!! item # 2457294130.

>grid heater off 93> item # 2456549322.

>77 W200 crew cab> item # 2457014738.

NO affiliation with these items, just thought someone might be interested. Bill

Saw the D250 with the 12-speed - sounds like a great rig. I might be interested if my truck wasn't a daily driver... the trip to work has 27 traffic lights in 21 miles (each way - most of which I catch on red:mad: ). I think I'd wear out my left knee within a few weeks. :D

that 12 speed, sounds like a regualr truck and someone add a road ranger to it. basically a 3 speed trans gear splitter. Pretty common on older medium to heavy trucks. I looked into a road ranger so time back, like 2 foot long, 8 inches wide, price i believe was around $300. I decided i dont drive enough to benefit from installing it.

SHHHHHH on those other parts, damn trying to get a reasonable priced items. LOL

three speed transmission

If it is like the old trucks, you would indeed wear your clutch leg off at the knee. However, I don't think that is how it would best apply to the Dodges. Seems that you could just use it as a range change and if you were torqueing heavy, use the low range. If you were pulling a medium load on the highway, stay in direct. Empty miles, good roads, use the high range and stretch out. I looked for one around home but never came up with anything. I figured they were all melted down and riding around in a Japaneese car. Interesting combination. First one I ever heard of.
