I picked up my new v6 powered dodge sunday got the

engine transmission out ,and the donor truck is coming apart

today. this will replace the dakota itch.

You folks just ain't gonna believe this. An new, 05, V6, 6 speed, 1500 short bed, ripped apart for a toy. Jeff bought a donor truck just for the engine and transmission, a 94 3500 that's in the rebuild stage now. He's gonna have a 1500 diesel runnin the streets around 650 HP that will be so docile on the low end, you wouldn't know the V6 had been removed. But it could almost win Pro Street. This little critter is going to be a real sleeper and wild beyond anything you will see. 5 bolt wheels that will be limitless as to what he can run on tires. And of course, I gotta put a set of traction bars on it. This will be an everyday street truck, but I bet you'll see it on the track. This project is a 30 turnaround time deal. Just crazy to me.

That'll be a wild little toy. I'm hopefully going down there in a short while for my transmission once I make an appointment with Jeff, that would be a fun conversation piece. Not to hijack this thread, but did you make that bumper that was in your shop at the last shop day?

Yeah on the bumper. That's the one I make for the II gen trucks.



And the trucks at the shop in Griffin. Right now there is a dummy block and transmission in there for fitting purposes.
