I am the new member (TDR) with the 96 12 valve Dodge that uses a lot of fuel. Dodge does not smoke, air filter is clean and it has 24 boost. Where the heck is the waste gate and how easy is it to fix? Unknown condition of Cat, will have it checked. How do you check stuck fuel injector. Thanks everyone for your help. Maybe I see a few of you at a tailgate meeting. Hey Ed, I'll see you wednesday. O by the way, I don't smoke after sex, my wife does.

Vallen,

Get yourself a signature so we can see what u are running, gears, mods, 4x4?

What for mileage are you getting?

OH, and Welcome to the dark side:D

vallen,

Don't worry about the wastegate, well Ok you can check it out if you want but 24 lbs of boost isn't causing your truck to drink fuel.

You are not going to have problem with melting anything down unless your over 30 lbs of boost. When you find fuel problem than look into boost.

It is on passenger side by turbo/exhaust manifold/exhaust pipe, the actuator and rod are easy to see they are below the above mention items follow the rod up and you have found the wastgate (housing).

I would check for fuel leaks especially at the fuel return line but also all supply/return lines between fuel tank and injector pump.
