GET SOME VIDEOS!!!Oo.

I would LOVE to see this, and show my rice buddies about this!!!:p :p

I am not asking for proof, just want to see it.

Andrew

You guys should see Jeff's Dakota. :--)

We went for another ride today and this thing rocks. 1st to 2nd gear shift with about 1-2 foot of spin, good solid bark out of third, and a g-force that'll pin you really well in those seats. Can't wait to see the timeslip on this one too.

The looks from the other drivers was worth the ride alone.

later,

I've been high-11's before... . never in a diesel, though.....

Nice timeslips... . !

I'd love to see a video too... . I'd even be willing to convert from any media format to . mpg or quicktime so the whole world can see.....

Would you mind giving us the 60' times and the weight of the vehicle?

Matt - VERY proud P7100 12-valve owner.

On edit: This 6BT must have about 450 or so HP to get that MPH... . it's getting easier and easier to make lots of power every day that goes by.

Taken from the thread going on in the Competition forum :

"The weight is 4465. "

"The last time I saw the dragster a few months ago, it was STRIPED. Lets see if I can remember... . No real dash, doors are welded shut and there is a roll cage, one racing seat (he used to have two and give rides, no rear bumper, the bed is just the outer skin of the sides and the tailgate welded together, no bed floor, none of the pesky weight of an intercooler or much of an exhaust (last time it had twins, the exhaust rose through the hood). I think that's about it. "

With that time/mph and weight, it should be roughly 525hp... . easy pickens for the P7100. I'm workin on it in the VP44. I just can't bring myself to strip anything off my truck.....

If I remember, Jeff's 60' time was around 1. 6 sec. 1/8 mile was about 7. 5 sec at 94 mph.

I think what is important here is Jeff pulled the motor this winter. He replaced the factory pistons with marine pistons to see how they performed. Aside from the marine pistons, basically a 7100 with stock delivery valves and a spring kit, and twin turbo's Jeff has reached these numbers. All on #2. I believe he still has room for improvement because I have personally seen this truck run 115 mph in the 12. 3 range last year. His goal was 11's hence the tear down over the winter. Narrowed rear with slicks in the fenders, ladder bars, coilover springs, along with drive shaft loop etc. in preparations for the 11 sec bracket. This was his first weekend at the 1/4 mile track since putting it all back together. If you can also believe this, the truck doesn't smoke.

I'll get pictures and videos soon. I need to put the camera in the truck so it's there when I "swing by".

I must have missed this info on the other thread... . too much reading and not enough comprehension! :D

Thanks!

Matt - eager to make some serious HP with #2
