Just posting this on here because I haven't had much luck on the conversion board. Anyway, what I am doing is building a crew-cab GMC and dropping a cummins into it as well as the drive train. Anyway, drivetrain is pretty much the same from 94-02 so thats not a concern. My question is what year would be best? I was originally thinking the 12 valve for reliablity but the 24 valve can be bombed and then changed easily for e-tests and what not. Although they are more expensive to do. My main concern is reliability and have heard of the 24valve pumps going earlier than the 12 valves. Also, wireing would be alot easier with the 12 valve but I will be getting the whole donour cehical so it wouldn't be a big deal.
A couple few's on which would be best and reasons why would be great... ..... Thanks... . Ryan
