Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 12 valve w/370's Stumble -HELP!

I think I have put up with the famous 1200 RPM Shudder (read - shake your teeth out) as long as I can. What do I need to do to fix this problem? I know enough of you our there have dealt with it, but I haven't been able to find an definite fixes in the posts here.



It's a 96 auto, with Piers 3K Spring Kit, DD Stage 2 Plate (forward) and new 370 Injectors.

you could try to bump up your timing to about 16*. i had a 95 that did it real bad until the timing got bumped up.

You have a 180 hp pump?



If yes, add 191 delivery valves.

I ran pdr 370's with stock 181 d/v's with no stumble at all. timing @ 16*. i would set the timing 1st and see if that smooths out your stumble. it probably needs to be checked anyway and its cheaper (free if you have the tools) than d/v's

180 pumps are usually ok with 370's. Mine was with stock D-Valves.
