Try replacing the 25W light bulb in your rangehood with a 7W or 4W landscape bulb, makes a nice 12 V nightlight. I found the 7W landscape bulbs at Autozone (2 for $1. 99), the 4w ones may be a better choice. Sylvania UPC code is 46135 35925. Nice thing is they are exactly the same size just l a lower wattage.

Thats a good idea, but I always camp under one of the lights at Walmart.

most of the new RV's have the plug in style lights. In the lamps over the beds, I replaced one of the bulbs with a 194 style side marker light, uses much less electric, and its eaiser on your eyes for reading in bed.
