A couple of questions for the electrical guru's on the forum.
I have a 1200 watt inverter in my RV for running the stereo/TV system only. The way the system is set up, it is a pain to switch to internal power when connected to shore power. Does anyone know of a switch similar to a battery bank switch that could be wall mounted and used to switch between shore & inverter AC?
Also, my inverter, a Tripp Lite PV1200 was salvaged from an ambulance. When running, it creates so much interference on the AM radio that it is useless. Is there any type of line filter that would correct this or is the electronic noise ooming from the inverter and being picked up by the radio in such a way as to preclude the use of a filter. There is no noise on FM, CD or TV audio output.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
