Converted my 2001 vp44 to a P-pump

IRP 1 wild time

I don't know the CPL # there are several do a search on the web for rebuilt cummins engines and it will have a list of pump types output power sump location. My inline 4bt came from a RPS van. Hope that helps. D

Most of the 4BT's, with VE pumps are 105 hp. There is a 120 hp version, it's a 4BTA.

All the 130 hp and more versions are inline P pumps. I would guess that some time after 1994 is when Cummins began making the 4BTA's with the inline p pumps. Good luck in finding one, there very rare.

I don't know abought rare I work on bread trucks 96 is when they started showing up in bread trucks. if you find one runaway from it as fast as you can we have had several break the cam one has done it 3 times everything lookes normal even changed cam bearing in front. no one has a solution to it Cummins says we are doing something wrong. They break throttle levers all the time at $100 a pop I would stay away from them that's just my opinion what the hell do I know cknoop
