My hope is this will be a resource thread for all who want to improve the performance of the stock wastegated 12cm exhaust housing. So if you have input on making it a better piece, jump in.
I'm currently running the stock HX35 with a 16cm2 nonwastegated housing along with a stage 2 HTT compressor and housing (guess it's not stock LOL). Unless I pay attention, boost will hit mid 40s and egt's can go way above 1300 very quickly.
After reading several post on the 12cm wastegated housing enhancements I'm ready to pull the stocker off the shelf and start doing mods.
First thing I'll try is drilling out the divider to allow the front 3 cylinders to relieve, then do a bit of porting and polishing.
So, anyone have advise on how to max out the stock housing? Forrest, I've read your comments and you mention having the housing polished with a extruding process. Who does this, how much?
Thanks, RJR
