What are the needs of the 12V motor for a fuel pump do they need a lift pump like the 3rd gen to get fuel to the Injection pump and what are you using. We are installing a Cummins in a 72 chevy and how about a return line if needed. Thanks BIG

The earlier 12v had a mech lift pump. On left side of engine, low on block to the rear. My 1997 had this set up. Good luck You are makin a CHEVY right !!!!!

they have a return line going back to the tank from the P7100 pump . I just assume that's the pump . it's on the engine side of the pump at the very top, a banjo fitting with a ball check in it .

It seems to be we have a 1ton 4x4 all buttoned up and it sets just as it did when we took out the small block. I say we my BIL has done the work he is the master mind of the project for his sister. Its just a matter of getting all the little nice things done and she will have a really nice truck. I think that we will park my 04 and use this in the winters of MT it will be nice to have 4x4
