12v inline Bosch pump governer??

Our church just bought a used student transport "Blue Bird" bus which just had a Recon 12v (inline Bosch pump) installed by Cummins and much to our surprise it is governed at 45MPH. When we contacted Cummins about this we were told they could not do anything about this since it was a federal law. Does any one know anything about this? Is there a work around?

start tearing it up and tearing it out. let us know what you find.



i dont know how they could govern the 12v'er. other than springs or the high idle screw. check the high idle screw and see how much travel it alllows or call piers and see if you can get a spring kit for it.
