Last I read, Don is using an off-the-shelf Cummins pump.

The lower pressures come from a different pump eccentric on the cam shaft, and it creates lower pressure and reduces pulsing. Don even customizes the pump eccentric!

This guy (don m) covers the details!

..... around mid 99 the Club Cab model was eliminated. Guess it's not so rare after all. Sorry.

A 1999 Club Cab is a RARITY!!! How many guys have actually seen one?? I have only seen one for myself, couldn't believe it until I read the door sticker. BadDNA guess where I saw it . . . when I was hanging out with the NE guys, like you, back in Oct. '01. It was at Massdiesel's old shop (somewhere around Walpole) when we had a BOMB party there.

What's the most economical permanent solution to the lift pump failing problem? I can't spend any more than I absolutly have to. Steve J

I have the FASS and love it. Some people said it loud but mine is reallyl quiet. Its much quieter than my old bullydog big fuel setup that came with a holley pump.
