Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 12v Valave Covers

got the head done and installed the valve covers they don't clear the studs which i know but what can i used to remove the webbing under the valve cover ?

a die grinder with a bur or stone is the most common, a dremmel or a end mill are other ways

ARP told us on a machined surface the washers aren't necessary.

how about the a-1's studs still need the washers ?

I would call Haisleys. I would think as long as the machine surface is clean that you should be ok.
