This last weekend I went out to the street drags again. I got to race a modified 24v(injectors,water/meth), ricer, and a early 70's stepside p/up. I got them all by at least 2 lengths. The driver of the ricer said his car wasn't running right. I believe him because he should have easily beat me. The 24v and I put on a great smoke show.

The last picture looks like you have a small stack coming out of the cab with white smoke coming out. Looks like fun, where is the track?

Hello Ron,

This is at the Samoa Drag Strip here in Eureka. On Saturday June 24th they are suppose to be having Diesel Truck drag races. I haven't heard anything final yet though.

Yeah right, the guy was most likely embarrassed by getting spanked by a truck that weighs twice that plus some over what his car weighs. that other dodge is sure jacked to the moon. What kind of times were you running in the 1/4?

What kind of tech inspection do you have to pass, what does it cost to run, and how far is it from Brads place?

They don't run the clocks during the street drags. It's free and a lot of people show up. So to keep things moving, they just use the tree for stagging and flag you to go. Per my speedo I am at 95 mph at the end of the 1/4.

That other dodge was pretty tall. I think he got a running start just to get in there. :-laf I was the first race the ricer took on. I asked him if hew wanted to start off light, thinking he would kill me. His car sat the rest of the night.

The inspection is pretty low key. They make sure your battery(s) are tied down and you have a over flow tank for your radiator. Other than that, if it looks safe, your ok. From Brads place roughly 30 minutes driving time.
