Competition Mitchellized! CAMMED & TWINNED

Competition Dallas Dyno?

It was a Test N Tune, so I got to pick my lane :D

I motioned the starter over and told him to catch a good breath. He asked if it was running propane, and I said no, just diesel. He said he'd seen a lot of diesel run before... no problem.

'Course he did jump when I got on the go-pedal.

Takes roughly 6-7 seconds to get the boost up to my launch 15psi. The truck is at full 40psi before I pass the tree.

Nice run Keith!,that guy in the Camaro musts just about s*it himself! I noticed the truck hardly smokes at all once under boost,my truck would fog the whole track, all the way down,LOL. I guess i need to improve airflow.

That's the cam working for us. :) That truck has the modified VP44 and Super Mentals.

There are other videos from that day up too. They can all be seen in the directory of:

The 13. 72 was against a Viper on slicks. That was a good run, and a good view from behind.

Try..... watching... ..... that... ... ... with... ... ... a... ..... dial-up... ... ... . connection. Still cool :D I wonder what that guy in the Camaro was thinking when he could'nt pull away from a 3/4 ton 4X4. :D

Hillcountrykid, I have a dial up, save it on media player. It took a while, but now I dont have to go on line to see it.

I sent a copy to my little brother. He has my last auto, a Buick Grand National. I told him "Dont "F" with the CTD powered Dodges!!":D

Nice!!

Thanks for posting that nice run Keith! Just when you think your work under the hood is done... now I am going to have to turn something after watching that :D

Russell

Just Bad to the Bone. Yeah, I bet the guy in the Camaro is still turning wrenches wondering what he's doing wrong. By the way, love by DD stage III.

Mojo, the guy in the Camaro came up to me when we got back in the staging lanes. Immediately asked me what I had done and if we could do that to his Duramax. He was bummed when I said you couldn't go that far. :)

Next time out we're going to look for a 12. 9. :--)

I saved the video to disc, but every time i try to pull it up my computer tells me i need to locate something called AcroRd. 32. exe, what the heck is this and where do i get it, i want to watch the run??

Waiting patiently out here in computer idiot detention rubberneck.

Acrord32. exe sounds like acrobat reader. The videos were done in . wmv (windows media video) format. Any chance the association on your computer for . wmv file type is for acrobat reader?

To check/change, open windows explorer, click on tools, then options (folder options if you have Win2000). Then pick "file types". Scroll through the list until you see WMV. If it is associated with acrobat reader, delete it. If you have Win2k, you can "change" it to Windows Media Player. If you don't, now go back to explorer, double click the file and it will ask what program to open it with. Pick Windows Media player and that should get you running.

Hope that helps.
