Members in Albany Ore.

Michiganders and visitors,

The legislature is proposing a 13 cent per gallon increase for diesel fuel. Please contact your legislators and express your concerns. Thanks

Read in the paper that Iowa is considering a similar increase on diesel, as well as liscense fee increase on pick-ups, though on 1/2 tons?

That's it Michigan, sock it to the people as the states economy collapses. I'm so glad I left there 20 yrs ago.

Best of luck to those of you that live there.

Glad I left 2 1/2 years ago. Nothing but bad news when I speak to friends that still live there. There are so many people struggling to get by, jobless, etc. I guess the state doesn't make any money on income tax of people with no job, so they have to get their money elsewhere

it was all fuels here....

They tried to push a tax like that on us here in NJ whan fuel was low.

It didnt work.

One of the few things that are nice in NJ is fairly low fuel costs.

IIRC, IL is trying to increase the fuel tax several cents. They already hiked the vehicle licensing fees several years ago.

They are also proposing a gross revenue tax. OK, fine. Run the REST of the manufacturing jobs out of the state. ******* tax and spend liberals and theives.
