Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I took a saturday off from work to bring my 68 charger down to Enlgishtown Raceway Park so i could make sure she would be ready for sunday the first points day of the year. Well i was pleased with a consistant couple of time shots at 12. 27 so i figured id race the real street program they have saturday nights. I diddnt expect it but i made it to the finals and won! wooohoooo!
So i wake up sunday morning and the forcast calls for SNOW? damn!
so i call the track and the program is still on and i figure i better at least show so i dont loose any possible points. I really dont want to tow my 28ft box trailer and charger in the snow so i think why not the truck? I checked the radar and it sure looks like snow!
well i got one time shot 14. 65 YEEEEEEEHA!
went two rounds into the third with a 14. 5 buy run and it started to snow! they shut it down and i went home with a grin from ear to ear!
im very pleased with this time due to the weight 6700 lbs (weighed it there today!)and its a 5sp so i took it easy on the line and diddnt throw any fast/hard shifts (its my daily driver)
