'14 diesel 3500

Fuel runs all over when fuelling. Hose looks fine.
Any ideas?

Where does it run from? Are you pushing the nozzle all the way in to open both flaps?

Is this truck new to you? If so, likely as above.....you're not inserting the nozzle far enough. These capless systems have an inner flap that the nozzle must push open.

I have tried everything. Pushing thr nozzle in all the way, moving it...

It is new to me. I live in Mexico, so have to fill up where the big trucks fill up, so the nozzle is a full inch in diameter. Now that you mention the 2 flaps, I'm wondering if the big nozzle won't go all the way in to depress the second one.
I'll see on my next trip up north if it does better there with the smaller nozzle.

I use truck stop nozzles every time I get DEF and they work just fine.

I've not been able to get under while filling, because I'm always going somewhere, and can't take a diesel bath. But it dumps a lot of fuel, from back in behind the fender. But now that you say you fill up with the big hose, I did before too, and didn't have this problem.

I try to not use the big hoses if possible. It comes out way to fast if your not very careful. I see lots of ground spill messes at stations that pickups are using the big nozzles

You just have to use the first clock. They are fast, but shouldn’t spill because of it, rather they shut off before the tank is full.

Time for a visual inspection of the full tube.

So, I pulled the bed off and went to fuel up, and there were no leaks! We put it on full flow, and added $50.00 of fuel, and nothing spilled out.
The 3/8 inch breather tube and canister right inside, under the fuel door, behind the fender was obvious very oily, where it had dumped fuel previously.

So I pulled the cannister in the mouth of the fill tube that houses the 2 flaps out.
I drilled a 5/16" hole at the same level as the other bleeder hose that comes in the side of the filler neck. Then I MIG welded a 1/4" elbow on top of the hole, and reconnected the 3/8" breather tube to a hose bibb. Absolutely no leaks now, and everything still dry!
BUT replacing that 2 flap canister in the filler neck was no small achievement!

Open the first flap with a screwdriver, and look down into the filler neck with a flashlight.

There are a few trucks that had filler neck/ tank vent issues. You might want to check your favorite dealership to see the TSB

Only one flap on my '22 as well, a much stronger sprung upper flap than my '18 had too.

I put the Genos locking cap on mine. I don’t think the (flaps ) are enough. I worry about dirt and water getting in there.
