this has to be the dumbest conversation I have ever heard, scott you have vultures out here that already want to rip apart YOUR truck just to see how it works. the best dyno for any pull truck is 300 ft at a time, If you win then you had enough. . To the fella in reno you say you pull your truck all summer long. . we made 8 pulls a and never saw any bad to the bone truck that smokes all the way down the track, 'cept from rosa, acampo, and lodi.

good luck scott we cant wait till pullin season

brandon and duncan

I couldn't agree more, you just can't take a street truck like mine or anyone elses and compare it to Scott's on the dyno. Not with any of us running a Single, Twins, N2O, Water/Meth. Just like none of us would ever think about tying onto that heavy ***** sled.

Jim

There are dynos that can dissipate that kind of power and a whole lot more, for long periods of time... . long enough to burn any pulling engine down.

The main issue would be traction on the chassis dyno. Once the tires let loose of the roller(s), it'd go wide open... . and kaplooey.

You have no clue what your talking about. I am friends with Scott and even bought him and his family dinner I hardly think I am a vulture trying to rip his truck up. My truck was broke most of last season but you will be sure to see me this season. Oo.

boy howdy you got me there limprod, what would I know about pullin anyway I dont even own a dodge. what would I know about every armchair puller giving advice to someone who has a good runnin truck either. . NOTHIN

I can only tell you that your ability is measured 300 ft at a time, and you got a crappy battin average from 2006, happy hookin for 07

WOW! Who is talking about pullin or giving advice did you read this thread. And by the way I won both pulls I went to so I would say my average is pretty good.

Can you not read. I said my truck was broken most of the summer. You also have to remember we only have about 12 pulls out here.

Hard to believe that just a few years ago, Justin was a 2wheeler sissy!

Now he is a 4x4 500HP street puller powerhouse, heading to the west coast to do battle on the pulling track!!!

If Justin beats TJ, does that mean Justin "could" have won the west coast challenge?

I wonder why none of the drag racers get this involved with bench racing?

No because he has a manual transmission. The reason drag racers don't bench race like this is because they have a event that is the same and comparable across the country. You have a time slip or you don't.

Back to my ?. Can someone tell me what the final ratio is coming out of the drop box?

Really thats a trick question...

Because the Challenge isnt what matters overall. No one cares who won the drag race, the trailer pull (boring), or the show and shine or whatever.

The only thing that matters is the Sledpull and I would have easily put the stompin' on TJ's truck. :-laf

That depends on what gear set you have, Both SCS and Profab have quick change boxes, pull the cover swap gear's have what ever ratio you want.
