i would have to agree, MOST pulling trucks are OVER 1500hp. look at Erik Stacys truck. that thing is the badest pullin truck on the planet and you dont think that is above 1500? that thing is unbelievable

Scott only put 35ft on a street truck that was no where near 1000hp.

For comparison, back in the day, when Mitchell, Kent, and Terry Martin ONLY had about 1200HP, and we were pulling against them with 500HP , street trucks, 35 to 50 feet was common.



What the casual observer doesn't realize, is that 35 feet may as well as been a light year, because it twerent gonna happen!!!!



Your best hope was they broke, or overpowered the sandy west coast track!!!:-laf

Like I said, I am de-tuned some what for longevity and have gearing issues. But will take the 35 feet next year will be different.

My bad, that was supposed to be NOT puking my guts out the 35' night I was very sick even forgot to open the fuel valve and couldn't get it started I was certainly not at the top of my game but heh no excuses here either



Joels truck runs great and is only going to get better as he tunes it. the P-Pump only went on a couple of hooks ago and isn't close to be turned up yet. His twins are clearing up the fuel though so it might be time :-laf

not having read all of this post for lack of interest in reading the same thing over and over why dont ya'll do what we do in machine world and measure bsfc. if cat says its good enought to dyno their scraper and wheel loaders then i think its good enough to use here. hell ill even supply the guages and hook ups if i can get to them soon enough

I think thats a fair number considering the Duarmax brigrade insists they are making 1350 to the wheels in their street trucks!!!!! LMFAO.
