Got a chance to take the truck to her limit. . Had a 10k 5th wheel WOT up a good long grade and hit 1420f on the pyro gauge. Speed was about 85mph. The temp wasn't sustained it was just a short burst up and over the hill... What kind of temps have you guys gotten up to?

Is that on the (secret) setting?



I would like to see your EGT's with the Edge elbow on, this would be very good info Clayton.



I tried the elbow and my peak EGT's have dropped from 1363 to 1292. This is with the stock airbox and filter.



These temps are on a short run up a steeeeep grade WFO.



I don't run the EGT's that hot for more than ten seconds.



I just thought I better say that before someone else does.

It was on level 4 that I hit those temps. . I'm sure that if I towed on level 3 or so I wouldn't even have to worry as much about the temps
