14mm VE roll call

Alright I hear Brian (KTA) is sold out of 14mm pump heads for the VE. Thought I'd do a roll call or a show of hands, who's got em ? Doesn't have to be put together and running, just own a 14mm pump head.



Good to see that others are stepping up to the plate to raise the bar and pick up where some of us left off. I should have a new set of injectors soon and hopefully I can approach that 500hp mark on a single turbo .

I dont own a 14mm pump head, but I was talking to piers on the phone a week or two ago and they said they arent very reliable. what do you guys think and why?

Got one here. Got alot of work to do before it's up and running with it though.

From my readings here and elsewhere, it has to do wth supply pressure and voume. The 14mm head likes a lot of fuel volume to keep it cooled and lubed. The 14mm head has a 36% larger surface area than the 12mm, so it'd stand to reason it needs at least that much more fuel supply.

so..... would a fass system help. or would you be talking of internal mods.

You'd have to talk to the experts on that one. Theoretically, I suppose it'd work, esp with the higher volume they flow, but who's to say for sure?

I got the last one. I have a schied rebuild in Big Ugly right now because I siezed my old pump. I just picked up the last few parts to get my pump back together. I cant say when I'll be puting it back in as of yet. For one thing I am moving soon and cant afford a downed truck and two I need to address Big fuel supply first. But I am looking forward too it.
