It sounds like im selling something huh???

i could not believe it! changed the fuel filter and air filter last night after i got home. made sure i checked and reset the overhead as i got on the freeway on the way home, 15. 2mpg (70mph 35+ miles)

drove to work this morning, no its not down hill, reset the overhead and a wopping 20. 5mpg

both filters were the dirtiest i had ever seen, just as bad as others ive seen posted. fuel filter was the worst. i noticed the mpg dropping for the last 2000 miles figured something was up.

only 10,300 miles. im thinking the fuel from the factory gets alge in it when it's shipped and sits on the lot for months.

change your filters boys, you might be suprised!!!!!

don't hold your breath. :D Most of the time the overhead computer isn't very accurate. Check your numbers on paper first. ;)

it wouldnt recalibrate overnight would it?

if it was off it wouldve been off on the way home and the way to work, right? could understand if i filled up in the middle...

what else could i have messed up when calculating this? now im starting to think, does emotional exuberance change the overhead...

A lot of times when you reset the overhead computer it isn't very accurate till you have ran it for a while. The first hundred or so miles may not be accurate. If I fill mine up and reset it then drive 45 miles to work on the interstate, it will show as high as 23-24 MPG. As I drive it more that week, the numbers drop down to more rational figures. :D

I let off and it keeps GOIN'!!!

Sorry in advance if this question has already been asked. Why when I step on the throttle and let off suddenly, does my truck keep going? My foot won't even be on the pedal and my RPMs will still read 1500 for a few seconds? Is it just my truck, or do others experience this? I am guessing it has to do with my performance upgrades involving a fuel issue, am I wrong?:(
