Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 15# boost limit?

I just put in a new turbo (SPS62) and now im wondering why when i stand on the brake and throttle i have a 15# boost limit. I can watch the boost gauge and when it starts coming on hard at just below 15# it starts to defuel and stays at 15#. Im running my Edge Comp Drag on 5X5. When im not standing on the brake and moving down the road it will go up to 45# of boost. How can i stop the defueling? Thanks for the help!

Yeah, they do that. The BD-RAD will take care of that for you. If you plan on racing they are a nice thing to have. I think that one will run you about $250.
