15sec no oil press

For some reason if the truck sits for more than a couple hours it will hot have any oil pressure for the first 15 seconds. Do I need to change my oil pump out?



I'm using the pacbrake oil filter relocate kit. And am running two turbos. Would these make the system loose prime?

The 03+ motors do not like remote mounted filters, this is a common effect.

So its the remote it's self? Unfortunantly I cant use a filter on the housing because of turbo plumbing. Is this terrible on the engine?

Remember these are idiot gauges. To be on the safe side install a mechanical one and watch that one. As in my sig I run a amsoil dual no problems, Then recently added a preoiler. AH64ID is correct though the computer flips out though I have never seen that

So the pre-oiler is causing you problems?

I had a remote kit also and had the same issue as you. Wound up blowing the bearings in the HTT turbo do to not enough lubrication at start. Don't drive away until your pressure is up!
