any helpful advice on installin b&w turnover ball

super shifter/ 2whl low kit

Anyone know any old trucks/cars that came with 5 hole 16s. My 1992 Holiday Rambler needs tires and I'm thinking I'd like to go with E rated 16's without changing axles or spindles.

I know some of the older vehicles had 5 hole 16's just don't know what to look for. Thanks in advance for any help.

Mid/late 90's Dodge half tons are 5 bolt/16". I'm not sure what the bolt circle diameter is though. They should look nice if th eoffset and bolt circle dia. work.

Old used takeoff wheels from a car or truck are unlikely to fit due to backset. A better source for wheels with the proper offset/backset would be a parts supplier for the working (cargo, flatbed, stock) trailer industry. SouthwestWheel http://www.soutwestwheel.com is an excellent source. New wheels like you need sell for about $25/wheel. Redneck Trailer and other similar regional suppliers would probably offer them also as would any retail tire store in your area although probably at a higher price.

Harvey gave you some good advice to buy new. the old pull offs are not rated high enough for the E tires---85 to 110 lbs.

This is like saying the 5-lug axle is heavy enough to handle an E-rated tire... last I knew, a 5-lug axle was only rated at 3500 pounds...

You sure they are not 6 hole?? bg

Thanks for the replies guys. I've decided to go back with 15's. Just to clear up one point though, the original plan was to upgrade the tires not to increase the weight capacity, but to increase the dependability factor.
