16 inch chains fit 17 inch

just for kicks i put my 16 inch chains on my spare stock tire, and it fit . i just wanted to keep a pair in the truck for winter. kp

changed my 245s to 265/ 16 on my old truck. those chains now fit 17 in also.

Its the OD of the tire that really matters more then anything, not so much the rim size. Just make sure the smaller chains won't be scratching up your wheels
