IOWA to Charleston,SC ..anyone need anything??

roof stuff ?

Anyone know where to get a good deal on a small tandem axle trailer?

I'm looking for one about 16' long and 6'2" wide. About 7K rating, with trailer brakes.

I used to own one, it had the rails down the side that is what made it kind of narrow. It worked great for hauling my jeep. I paid around $1000 for it. I've seen ads. for the same one around $700, but of course, now that I am looking for one I can't find them:mad:

If anyone knows where to find one, let me know:) I'm willing to travel if necessary.

Thanks,

Dave

Willy, i've been looking for a similar thing. The local dealer here has one 16' x 6'10 with dual axles for $1025. Of course this is with 'good used' tires. New tires all around is 300 extra and brakes are 150 per axle. Let me know if you want the info for that place... Also check ebay, search for car hauler. There are a lot of 16 by xxx trailers on there for cheap out of a place in missouri.

Willy, shoot me an e-mail I know of a place that I think can beat that price. Long way to drive to Oklahoma though.

I know where a 16+2x 6'11" is; not sure if he'd sell it. 7K GVWR, 1 brake axle, ramps, lights and wires work. Pulls good loaded; epmty is a little rough- axles need moved back about 4". I know half a dozen factories in Sikeston MO that can get you one for aroud $1200 w/ brakes, ramps, 3500# axles. I bought one w/6K axles for $1700 that had a treated floor, 16" tires, ramps, etc. Pulled real well. I always try to go for heavier ratings- I always end up glad I did later on.
