Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 1693 Code?

I pulled a 1693 code out of my 98. 5 24 valve. Looked it up to see what it was and there is were i got confused. Is this a code when you have a bad cam position sensor or a bad crank position sensor. I did a search and thats what I came up with. The check engine light is not on. We were just putting the scanner on to see what might be there and found this one. If I have an issue with the truck Id like to fix it, but Im at a loss as to what this code tells me to look at

Is the TST box causeing the 1693 code or the "noise filter" I installed for the trans? just a thought after I put up the post... ... .
