For those of you who are running the 16 housing, did you move your exhaust forward? I have seen a short extention advertized, I think it's an inch and a half or two inches in length. Anyone have this extention or am I suffering brain drain? If so, can you recommend a source? TIA

I think your right and they used to have it on their website but no longer do. I will give them a call tomorrow.

I went to my local muffler shop and ask them to make me a piece 6" long that my tubing would slide into at each end and with 2 clamps it came to $10

If I understand you correctly, you moved the downpipe forward but added the 6" spacer into the exhaust? My 4" systems on 2. 5 years now. I don't want to disturb it if I don't have to.

Yes I added a piece in. I cut the pipe in an area that is parallel to the ground and after bolting up the down pipe there was a 1. 5" gap at the cut. The slip connecter just slipped over each end at the gap and clamped tight there was no leaks and if I go back to stock (yea right) I can remove the slip connecter and weld it back up

Not enough room just sliding the system forward?

I recently put a 16cm on with a 4" Jardine system. I just loosened the transmission mount clamp and pushed the system forward the required 1" or so. Then tighted the clamp. If the muffler hanger gets to tight, slide it back. There was plenty of clearance over the axle.

One clamp the loosen and tighten.

That's the spacer to the lower right of the turbo? I need to crawl around the truck and decide on which way to go. Been working OT lately and it was 5 degrees this morning when I got home. Thanks for the replies though.
