I live in Minnesota and have poor milage.

But earlier this summer I went down to Missouri and filled up while I was there.

I got 18. 5 running around town. I just thought it was a fluke or i wrote down one of the number wrong. As far as humidity goes it wasn't humid in june and I still could only get 14-15. I wonder if its just the quality of fuel we are getting here in Minnesota??? Oh well high taxes low fuel milage what else could one ask for???

Spring is when we get the most fluctuation in mileage. LSD consistently gets 1-2mpg less than B20 during winter in my 12Vs. In summer both gave about the same mileage.

We didn't get ULSD until June so time will tell how it does next winter. We haven't seen any drop in mileage on ULSD compared to LSD in the 2006.

My 2006 has 34K on it. At 60-65 it gets 18, at 75 it gets 15. 5 unloaded. Mixed driving it gets 15-16.

Even a landscape or dump trailer with less than 4k gross will cut it 2-3mpg. Skid steer (22K Gross)at 75mph on coastal interstate yields 10 mpg. Box trailer in the Smokies at 60-65mph (17K Gross) 10. 4mpg.

All that is still comparable to my 2000 SO 47re 4. 10 with a lot more power and about 2-3mpg less than the 12Vs.

my 96 dually gets 17. 5 mixed , I drive 13 miles in traffic every day and that's what it gets, gets 19 on the road . done better when new . got back to this after the 3 lock was put in.

I have an 06 Mega 4x4 6spd, when it had under 20k on it i saw as low as 11mpg towing a trailer back from Texas. Since then i now have 26k on it, i also have a 2" leveling kit with 35 x 12. 5 x 17 and get between 17-19 , hand calculated with the correction for the lager tires. I dont believe the larger tires hurt my mileage, maybe a little in town but i feel improved it on freeway driving, and from what i could tell i my engine didint start to break in until over 20k, with only light towing.

I just returned from a 2000+ mile trip from Colorado to Louisiana and back - unloaded. I topped off the tank on the way out and had to fill up 3 times:

712 miles / 35. 02 gallons 20. 33 mpg

681 miles / 34. 12 gallons 19. 95 mpg

685 miles / 33. 81 gallons 20. 26 mpg

------------------------------------

2078 miles / 102. 95 gallons 20. 18 mpg

Pretty darned consistent.
