Hi, I am new to the forum and have q question regarding the best solution for enchanced performance on my '96, 5 speed, 3. 54 rear end Dodge/Cummins. Four years ago I purchased and installed a T. S. T. Torgue Plate and a 16MM Turbo Housing.
I have now received a recommendation from a local performance dealer that I replace the 16MM Turbo Housing with a 14MM Turbo Housing - they claim the smaller housing gives better performance in the mid-RPM range, which is where I do most of my driving. Incidentally, I pull a 32 foot 5th wheel, and the combined weight of truck and RV is about 20,000 lbs.
Anyone with any experience on the two different size Turbo Housings, or any general comments would be appreciated.
Thanks. JM Vincent
