Competition Maryville, MO truck pull video

Competition Congrats to New Era diesel for a great pull !!

Well it time for the Texas mile again, and Project X diesel is undergoing the minor changes necessary to put it back in Land speed racer trim. The major changes since the last LSR run at Maxton are the Charlie Stewart fabricated rear-ends housing and the abundance of gear ratios available for use in the 9 inch ford based. We have been pleased with the results that this rear end has shown. With over 6000 miles highway miles and over 50 drag racing launches the strength of the fabricated rear end has been proven. We have examined the gears and the parts and there is no evidence of any stressor that might lead to failure. We are changing the 4. 33 drag racing ratio with a spool to a 2. 85 ratio with an Air locker differential.

We have been evaluating the new ZZ custom fabrication side entrance CR manifold and the EGT’S have become even more balanced. This is critical in a 35 second full power run. To this end we have begun to establish a data base on the Snow boost Cooler as a power adder and a means of maintaining EGT’S with the added fuel.

Brady of Industrial Injection has sent us the 10 hole new injectors and the results will be exciting to see the CP3 stage 2 pump has maxed out the rail pressure at close to 30,000 psi from a second in to launch to the end of the track this at 900 + hp tune .

We had hoped to have the new Industrial Injection True Twin turbochargers ready , but that will be a project for next time

We really believe that 180 is more then possible and 200+ on the short course at Bonneville is the next goal

comp, is that the part to replace the original or another choice in the lineup? i kind of like the original hope they keep it around. are you working today? was going to give you a call if not.

ZZ still dose both styles in both Aluminum and stainless steel.

I like the side entrance, but think that the normal style top entrance is still a dramatic improvement over the Cummins junk head. Sure there are people that can make power with stock parts, but the longevity of air flow is evident.

Hey Greg, I see you have Industrial True Twins... is that gonna be two of the same turbo, like two Silverbullets? Whats the benefit of that ove different turbos in a twin setup (if thats what true twins indeed are)??
