I have recently purchased a set of Mickey Thompson Classic 2 17x9" wheels.

I also have on order a set of Pro Comp 33 12. 50/17" tires.

Will I have to install a 2" leveling kit with this combination?

Also, if I do buy the leveling kit, should I buy extra long shocks? (what kind?)

I already did a search and there was too many indefinite answers.

Someone guide me in the right direction!!!

Thanks! :D

You should not need a leveling kit with those tires. I have the same rims and 315's (which are 35 12. 50/17") and I only had slight rubbing without my leveling kit. You should be fine. You may need some fender flares though as they will stick out a couple inches wider than stock. Check my gallery for pics.

What is the backspacing on the wheels?, if it is 4. 5" I don't think you will have any problem with them touching but they will stick out pretty far.

With just 33's Justin I seriously doubt you will need a leveling kit.

I ran 33's on 16. 5x10's on my white truck with 4. 5 backspacing and the only time they rubbed was while going through a ditch/flexing while turning.
