I know a few guys here work daily on Fords and I was hoping to get some info.

How do I make it so the doors all unlock when one door is opened? Right now, if I’m in the truck and I open the driver door, it only unlocks the driver door.

Does Ford have a high idle feature/option like Ram? This truck will only idle for 15 minutes then shut itself off. I’ve tried the cruise with the parking brake on and off to no avail. Maybe it’s dealer programmable?

The truck is governed at 75 mph. I’d like to bump it up to 80. Is this doable or am I stuck at 75?

Had to backtrack to find this one. Saw it the other day but was busy.
I know the speed governor, idle shutdown, and steering wheel regeneration are factory enabled options and don’t know if it’s adjustable.
I don’t know about the idle up. The city wants them shut off, not running more ;)
I’m sure the power locks are configurable and if so, it’ll be in the owners manual.
I have a ‘17 550 in my bay now. When I get back, I should be finishing up a SCR/ Nox issue, and I’ll have the IDS on it. I’ll poke around and see if any of this is configurable.

The dealer can fix all that. We have the factory software at work to do it.

Our F550s will do 84mph.

So after I did the SCR drive cycle in this ‘17 F550 (like a charm), I drilled into module programming, and yes you can take off the speed limiter altogether. I did not see door lock preference (only fob programming)
I didn’t see a choice to mess with idle speedup or shutdown timer. I do know that you can program a PTO engine speed.
We use Ford IDS and PTS. Not getting better than that. Straight from the house of Henry.
