Guys, I am starting a new thread since my old one got so long. I took the injectors from my 1992 W250 12v CTD to the shop in McAllen to get them checked and repaired. They said I had several bad tips. They said it had 7mm tips, and 180 was the biggest they could get for this engine (I kinda hoped for 190). One TDR member mentioned that I would need to turn up the pump some. Aside from modified exaust, the truck is stock. Hope I am not making a mistake.
 
The 190 number I gave you is not a HP number. I think it's part of a part number. Let me check the injector chart on 1st gen and I'll let you know what size they are.
 
Stock injectors are supposed to be 6 x . 009. 6 hole with a . 009 diameter. The 190's are smaller than that. There wasn't a size spec on them in the chart.

Maybe call PDR, that's where I saw them. I talked to Mark, Nascar Mark on here, and he's the one that gave me the info on them.

For what you are doing, you don't need huge injectors.
 
Mark told me the PDR 190 injectors are identical to the old (and expensive) 185s. I guess it's one of those deals where 2 different applications had nearly identical parts.
