2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 19.5" Wheels on 94 2WD

I want to put 19. 5" wheels and tires on my 94 2500 2WD. Is Rickson my only option? Do I need to lift the truck?

Rickson is not the only source for 19. 5's and 17. 5's, but he does do a good job of pulling together all the tires and wheels from different manufacturers and does a real job of matching tires and wheels.



If you really want to scope out other possibilities, keep checking EBay and of course Google 19. 5 tires and wheels.



As far as fit, no lift or modifications should be necessary unless you go really wild with diameter changes.

i just ordered the vision haulers from 4wheelonline.com had a fathers day sale, less than $200 each. now to find some cheap decent tires.

There sure a lot of tire brands supplying 19. 5" tires out there I never heard of (I'm sure Chinese,etc. ) Anyone know anything about them?

that's my next step, i live just south of Chicago so i can probably find some cheap ones there, but if someplace has them cheaper i'll go there.

vision type 81 w/245/70/19. 5 tires 16 ply. the difference is amazing as far as road feel and how it responds to slight changes in the steering wheel, it used to float around a little and now it is sure footed and very tight.

I didn't know they used 19. 5 wheels. I wonder how to find out if they would fit but I would bet they would be hard to find

Great job and price. I waited too long and they dont have them anymore and the prices I've seen online are all over the place up to a high of over $350 a piece... #@$%!

Yes, I finally gave up looking and found a cheap set of 3rd gen aluminum 17" wheels and tires. Looks and drives pretty darn good.
