Moparsean,

Sounds like you are going to end up like me! I now have 4 fuel plates. A #6, #10, an unidentifiable plate that I paid $300 bucks for and the stocker. I will go back to an old TDR article and get you some #10 info in a bit. You might be interested in it!

If you have TDR issue #55 go to page 35 and read the wrong fuel plate article. It says that the #10 plate allows more low to mid range fueling than the #8. The #10 pulls back a little more than the #8 on the top end. With your stock turbo I would say the #10 is a good choice for you. When you get into more fuel in the top end with a GSK and stock turbo that is where egt issues come up. Just some more stuff for you to think about... .

swamp donkey, thanks a ton,so you think a 8 would be too hot at w. o. t. ? I have been a member for 2 years now so i should have that issue. I do want more someday, but just for now as my budget allows,i want a bit more for towing up long ***** mountain roads... . ever been to NH? we have lots! Just bought a 8100 lbs 5th wheel,i need more. I think it need more than the stock plate as my egt's are never over 1000 pre turbo. So where would you put that 10... stock or just a bit forward? Should be better than my stocker full forward now right???? I looked at it close, never been ground down, and that is exactly what my truck acts like. Real good out of the hole, then it kinda peters out untill i get lock-up. No smoke at all,i think it should have some. The ONLY time i get smoke is when i first mash it,after that i get 32 lbs boost and its pretty clear back there.
