2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 191 dv's

i would like to know if you can run 191 dv's with stock 160 injectors. im getting 370's on may first. i will have to run with setup until i get the injectors. can this be done saftly? will this make more smoke? i have a #6 fuel plate full foward and the star wheel is all the way foward. thanks

I ran 181's on 160 injectors... it didn't do much of anything other than increase smoke. I got very slightly better throttle response, but that was probably more psychological than anything else... . I was hoping for a power increase, afterall.



Bigger DV's on the tiny 160 injectors do little more than 'crowd' the injector with a slug of fuel that isn't being fully utilized... so it gets returned to the filter housing.
