Ol' Traildog;
I bought the D-70 in November 2004. Also bought the 70-300 Lens.
I love it, it has never failed me. I shoot everything in the highest res.
Highly recomend it. I also bought a Addonics MFR (multi function recorder)
www.addonics.com. This is a self contained flash card reader and CD Burner, all self contained and no larger than a external CD drive, 115 volt and Battery pack. After burning the CD, you can plug a cable into a Motel TV and verify all pictures burned checking either with thumbnails or full size. Then you can erase your flash cards. You can also play DVD's on it at a Motel. Wonderful Unit. Buy direct from Addonics and save a bunch, they are in high demand right now with elevated prices at stores.
My Boys are two German Shepherds. You can see them on my Image Event Site along with my other Power Wagon and my M-37 restoration which is receiving a Cummins 4BTA. Lots of other Power Wagon Stuff there. Your welcome to look at all albums.

Churchill Falls (Labrador) Hydro Project is 1000 feet underground. Due to the drop of the ground at the Churchill river, everything was tunnled out 1000 feet (in levels) below the river (before it went over the falls). 11 penstocks drilled on an angle drop the water to the turbines.
I too am a throw and go guy, wanting it finished yesterday. But on some projects, extensive planning must be done to assure a good time. Good Eyes on spotting the Dana Pack. I have 6 Dana's made when Dana was still in Bozeman and before the company was sold. No comparison to present day Dana's. And all my Tents are MOSS when they were made in Camden Maine USA.
No bugs on the camera lens, I lick them off ha ha ha ha. And its beautiful and super habitable up there, but you must like snow and cold. Their winters are much what we see in the Adirondack Mts of NY
#10, Why, Thats Sweetheart in the Sweetheart, I told her one time, you should sell trucks. Just smile and You could sell Ford Diesels to Dodge CTD owners.
I am seriously considering driving Sweetheart ( Carryall) from the Adirondack Mts of NY to Yellowknife, NWT and on to see a friend at Delta Junction, AK and return. WHy not, she drives as good as my 2003 Ram CTD. SO the Carryall would be comfortable to drive on long trips, I installed Ford Explorer Bucket Seats. They are better on my back that my 2003 Laramie H Package seats, Ok Lynch me ha ha
